The Road Trip Project
In just a a little over a month I will be embarking on a West Coast road trip from Seattle to San Francisco. I’m big on good tunes while I drive and there will be plenty of driving to be had. A straight shot down I-5 takes about 13 hours (so says Google Maps) but I don’t want to take the interstate — I’ll be bobbing and weaving from the coast,in land and back. So here’s where YOU com in. I figure to be safe I should pack up a Spotify playlist with about 24 hours worth of music (give or take). I could spend the next month trying to remember songs that would fit but instead I’m going to call on you to do at least some of the heavy lifting. Just a final few thoughts to help you — My goal is to have no more than three songs by any one artist. And just remember this is a playlist of ROADTRIP songs — not justgood songs. I too enjoy the sonic stylings of Bon Iver but the man has never written a good road trip song.
